NEWS

04/10/08 - The new Comeg album WILL be on its way, though a lot later than intended as it is being restarted from scratch for the third time. Six songs into the first incarnation it was ditched due to personal issues. Second version was deleted "accidentaly on purpose" ten tracks in as it didn't feel right and a fresh start was needed. After having listened to the first three embryonic tracks of version three; following a complete studio overhaul;the esteemed judges that matter have decided that this is the one.

Tech talk follows: Comeg has ditched Logic Audio and moved over to Cubase SX3. The pc platform version of Logic has now outlived its usefulness since support for it finished with the Apple takeover. The final straw being Logic 5.5s inability to read more than 1gb of ram and actually reducing further ram from the original 1gb amount causing huge problems with Logics undo function amongst many other things, making it almost impossible to work with. Tech talk finished.

It will take a short while to learn the ins and outs of the new system but it is already promising huge improvements with quality and ease of use. More solid news on the seventh album in the next few weeks.
